Enspænderen Anker løslades efter 15 i fængsel for røveri. Ankers bror, Manfred, er den eneste som ved, hvor pengene fra røveriet er.

Men han er imidlertid blevet ramt af en mental udfordring, der gør, at han ikke længere er klar over, hvor de er gemt.

Sammen begiver brødrene sig nu tilbage til deres barndomsland for at finde pengene, men også for at opdage, hvem de selv er.
